Construction: Main house is Nevis volcanic stone with block and masonry addition. Guest cottage is built of stone and wood.

Main House, Ground Floor:
Living room: main sitting area is in the base of the windmill. This 18ft diameter room has lovely cut stone walls and graceful arches.

Guest Bedroom: (16’ x 14’) has built in bookcases and closets, and an en suite bathroom with tub and shower.

Kitchen: (26’ x 22’) includes large oval island with breakfast bar and gas cooktop. Stainless steel GE profile appliances, extensive built-in open shelving for dishes and storage. Kitchen has been used for classes and cooking demonstrations.

Dining Areas: Large dining table in kitchen area seats up to 10. Outside dining on covered patio facing sea seats up to 10, with built-in barbeque.

Upper Floor: An additional two circular rooms in tower are connected by a floating staircase.

Master Bedroom: (16’ x 14’) is on the upper level. A private sitting room connects to a master bedroom, with a large bathroom and huge walk-in closet. A private covered veranda overlooks the Caribbean Sea.

Guest cottage:
The cottage is built in the traditional “skirt and blouse” style with Nevis volcanic stone on the lower level and wood construction above. The cottage consists of two, one-bedroom apartments connected by an exterior staircase. The cottage has its own gated driveway and carport with adjacent plant nursery.

The lower floor consists of a bedroom with en suite bathroom. A living/dining room and kitchen which opens to an outdoor covered patio.

The upper floor consists of a large bedroom (14’ x 19’) opening to a covered verandah. A bathroom and a large living /kitchen area (20’ x 18’) opens onto an additional covered verandah which connects to the main house by a stone path through the remains of the sugar works.

Pool: 47-foot lap/water aerobics pool integrated into old stone ruins, one lane is 4.5 feet deep, one lane 6 feet deep. Pool is treated with salt water system, solar heating, underwater lights and is surrounded by a cut stone deck overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

Laundry: Washer/dryer, utility sink, freezer and hot water storage tank with half bath.

Garage: A two-car garage with automatic overhead doors, 22-foot-long work bench with storage and supply of tools.

Utilities: Rainwater is collected in huge cisterns below mill and cottage. Adequate roof and cistern capacity for full-time occupation. Solar hot water with electric backup in mill. Electric water heater in cottage.

Gardens: Lower gardens and pool are design conceived by Julie Toll Landscape and Design from the UK, including caged vegetable garden and complete composting system. Orchard designed by Jeff Wroth of Dreamscapes Caribbean, includes mangoes, avocados, citrus, coffee, pomegranate and ackee. Upper gardens hard landscape, garden lighting and mill illumination also by Jeff Wroth.
