Living Room: Large living room/kitchen great room with flat-screened TV and DVD player, piano, desk, and large granite kitchen table that seats 8. Fabulous gourmet kitchen with Viking gas range, solar refrigerator, and full range of kitchen equipment. Outside are two screened porches and side porch for outdoor or additional dining at round table.
Great House: Two bedrooms each with queen beds and bathrooms and swimming pool, flat-screened TVs and DVD players in each room. Front bedroom has French doors to veranda; back bedroom has private outside entrance.
Eden Cottage: One bedroom suite with queen bed, sitting area, kitchenette and bath with private pool, directly adjacent to Great House, flat-screened TVs and DVD player.
Two Poolside Suites: Two bedrooms on middle level at pool deck with a third swimming pool. Each room has queen beds, screened porches, kitchenettes, flat-screened TVs and DVD players.
Three Garden Level Suites: Three bedrooms on lower garden level, each with queen beds, screened porches, flat-screened TVs and DVD players.
Verandas: Attached to all rooms are verandas at the front and side of the rooms, used for dining, viewing the stars or looking at the sea. Some are screened and some open air.
Details: House is the only totally solar “off grid” house on the island, with a windmill also which is seldom used, but available to produce more power. Systems are of the highest quality and most up-to-date technology available for home solar-powered systems. Two solar washers and dryers are in the utility room, where the batteries systems are stored. With the solar and the cistern water collected from the rain, life at Eden can be totally self sufficient. Fabulous gardens, pools and water features grace every part of the home, which was built on nine foundation levels. On the lowest level, owner is adding a screened greenhouse for vegetables and herbs. House is located along the most desirable stretch of Nevis’ west coast facing across St. Kitts.
