Suzanne Gordon, Owner A former journalist in Philadelphia for 35 years, Suzanne moved to Nevis in 1997 to write a book about Caribbean architecture: Searching for Sugar Mills-An Architectural Guide to the Eastern Caribbean. She established Sugar Mill Real Estate six years ago on her own and gradually added the five sales associates as the business grew. She is very active in the Nevis Historical and Conservation Society and recently received a M.S. degree in Historic Preservation from Goucher College in Baltimore, Md. suzanne@nevishouses.com Sales Associates: Kirby Mihalakis Based in Tampa, Kirby is the firm's rental specialist. Incredibly knowledgeable about the hospitality business, Kirby is a specialist in Caribbean rentals. Prior to working in the real estate business, she was a conference services and marketing manager with Renaissance Hotels in the U.S. Earlier she worked in hospitality management in both St. Thomas and the Turks and Caicos Islands. She brings much experience to the quality control aspect of the business. kirby@nevishouses.com Millie Molle Millie moved to Nevis with her husband and two children three years ago, after 12 years living in the US. She is English, but spent her childhood in Africa and the Middle East. She first came to Nevis in 1989, met her husband in the BVI and there started her love affair with the Caribbean. After years travelling the globe, Millie and her husband both decided to leave the rat race and settle on Nevis. Millie's passion is houses and she has always enjoyed buying and selling her own properties so it was a natural path for her to take get involved in real estate. millie@nevishouses.com Sandra M. Stewart Though most of her professional career was spent teaching at a college in Canada, Sandra and her husband decided to follow their dream 13 years ago and live the island life. Sandra's island journeys have taken her to the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and the Bahamas with her final destination Nevis where she and her husband have resided for nearly three years. Her personal experiences in the islands have involved property/home purchases, home construction/renovations and property rentals. In 1992, he reluctantly came to Nevis, a destination he considered an outpost, on a two-year assignement. Today Nevis has become his adopted home. His interests are island indigenous: deep-sea fishing, sailing throughout the Windward and Leeward Islands, quality golf right here on the island and just across the Narrows in St. Kitts.
