This is the perfect low-maintenance getaway for a couple or a single person who wants the perfect inspiration to write or paint, or just enjoy a quiet life on Nevis. This lovely neighborhood with views of the sea is just a short ride to Charlestown for shopping. There are two inns within a mile or two, Hermitage Plantation Inn and Montpelier Plantation & Beach. This charming cottage is single story, compact with modern conveniences, and landscaped gardens, and the start of an additional guest cottage in the yard.

Living Room
Good-sized living room with sitting area, exposed beam ceilings, and space for desk or table and chairs, open to kitchen.
Kitchen
Kitchen is U-style with counter space for two stools. Gas range and refrigerator and sink that provide great sea views while washing up. All custom cabinets built by Chickee from Gingerland.
Dining
Ample room on open, screened veranda.
Bedrooms
One bedroom off living room/kitchen with A/C and double doors and window to the veranda. A loft bed in an addition built by the late Fred Davis, master joiner and carpenter, can double as a second bunk room. Nevis stone surround tub/shower with pedestal sink and handmade shelving also built by Fred Davis is compact and stylish.
Veranda
Open, screened veranda—good for dining, reading or relaxing. Perfect location for a hammock.

Sturdy cinder block construction, wooden trim, with galvanized roof.

Partially completed cottage on the property could be guest room, studio, or office. Fenced yard. Great neighborhood of single-family homes just a couple miles from downtown Charlestown. Soursop, grape vines, bougainvillea, yellowbells, ficus, elephant ears, birds of paradise, ferns, and coconut trees dot the property. Areca palms welcome you beyond the sliding iron entry gate. The cottage captures the most gorgeous easterly breezes year-round from the edge of the rainforest 750 feet above sea level. Green vervet monkeys are a mainstay and tend to congregate under the neem tree. Not far from restaurants at Hermitage Plantation Inn, Montpelier Plantation & Beach, Bananas Restaurant. Close by is Eden Life Rejuvenation Center, a holistic health center for massage and natural treatments.
